David H. Weiss
David is principally involved in planning for individuals and families in preserving assets against New York State and Federal estate and gift taxation and against the costs of long term care. In drafting estate planning documents, David works closely with clients to ensure that their estate plan serves their individual needs.
David also plays an intricate role in the firm’s guardianship practice and works on many clients’ institutional and community Medicaid-related matters.
David lectures on Estate Planning & Elder Law matters to promote community engagement for the aging population.
Prior to joining Matthew J. Nolfo and Associates, David worked at a not-for-profit legal services organization, working on clients’ estate planning and public benefits needs.
David is a member of the New York State and New York City Bar Associations and volunteers with numerous organizations throughout New York City with a focus towards inner city youth and senior citizens.
